Frederick T. Zugibe, Ph. D., M.D. was the Chief Medical Examiner of Rockland County, New York from 1969-2003, where he was widely recognized as an expert in forensic pathology. He has also been the President of the Association of Scientists and Scholars International for the Shroud of Turin (ASSIST) for over twenty years. He lives in Rockland County, New York.
